PAL's
PAL's is a gourmet cakery, specializing in personalized cakes, decorated cookies, and just about any other sweet that you can dream about! We are located in West Lynn, about 20 minutes northeast of Boston proper.
Our newest lines of products are gourmet dessert mixes! Everything is house-made with the highest quality ingredients: King Arthur flours, Cabot butter, Diamond sea salt, Judee's All-Natural products, Valrhona chocolate. No fillers, no preservatives (besides chocolate and sugar, of course!), nothing you can't pronounce.
Meet the Owner / Pastry Chef
Hi, I'm Gabby! I hope that you're having the sweetest day! I've been a pastry chef for about a decade now. I can honestly say that I truly love what I do! I've been the pastry chef of a few high-end restaurants in Boston: il Molo, Oak & Rowan, and Sorellina. I also whipped up plenty of high-end desserts at the prestigious Somerset Club on Beacon Hill, the Ritz Carlton in Boston, and Eataly Boston.
I'm from Winthrop & East Boston, went to Boston Latin School, then traveled to Providence for Johnson & Wales. Now, I reside in West Lynn with my loving husband, who is also a chef! Vince is the executive chef at Eva on Newbury Street.
When I'm not baking up a storm, I'm caring for my little one, snuggling my sweet dogs, crocheting, or reading something dystopian.
Why PAL?
My father-figure was my whole world. He was kind, accepting, patient (at least for me haha), a genius, and extremely loving. He taught me how to think and that there is always another way if something isn't working out! He believed that there should be more women as leaders and business owners, and that the world would be a better place because of it. Peter Anthony Lazzarino was one of a kind, far ahead of his time, and I am so lucky and thankful to have spent all my time with him! Of course, he wanted me to pursue whatever I wanted in life... So, here I am! He sure did love his sweets, too! 💛
